We had a bit of time on our hands so we decided to do something a bit touristy and check out the London bridge. Turns the London bridge is crap and the one you want to see is the tower bridge. luckily that is only a short (and painstakingly cold) walk from the london bridge tube station.

it was right on dusk when we got there and looked pretty ordinary, so we decided to wait until they turned the lights on. we found a cool little pub called the Anchor Tap. it had some really nice nice beers, reminiscent of the west coast breweries of australia (bohimian pilsner, little creatures, etc). it was an old pub which you had to duck to get through the doorways as well a navigate these treacherous staircases to get to the bathroom (not fun after 2-3 pints). I also managed to bash my head on those doorways at least once!
