on the night of the argentina v holland game (2 nights before the AUS:CRO game), it was raining, and so we needed to fin a pub close to camp that had a roof. and this was the place we found. the locals were really nice and we managed to order some pizzas with our really bad broken german.

after the game i turned to the guy on my table (who was the owners son/cousin/nephew or something) and said that that they have to cheer on australia. he turned to face me and said "we're croatian". it then got a little uncomfortable and we left soon after
